Tips and tricks to reduce your ironing pile
Wrinkles are especially embarrassing if your favourite shirt needs to be ready for an important meeting. We have five tips and tricks that will help you reduce or even eliminate creases without the need to use an iron.
Remove the clothes from the dryer as soon as drying is complete
It’s not uncommon to forget clothes in the washer and dryer. And there’s nothing wrong with that, unless you want the clothes to be wrinkled. Our advice: take the clothes out as soon as your dryer is done.
A kind of yoga for clothes
Don’t just put the clothes back in the closet after taking them out. Lay out the clothes. Pull both ends of the garment to avoid unsightly creases. These small steps make a big difference.
Reduce wrinkles while taking a hot shower
Run a hot shower. Close the bathroom and seal any air gaps to keep the steam out. It takes about 15 minutes to get rid of the creases. To save water, you can take a shower during this time.
Use a “shirts” or “business” program or steam treatment for already dried shirts
The right programme, better results. If your dryer has a shirt or business programme, use it to reduce the number of creases in your shirts or blouses.
Use special softeners or detergents
Washing also has a huge effect on subsequent drying. Use special detergent or fabric softeners with your washing machine to get clothes with fewer wrinkles. Ask your local dealer for advice.
